In our “post-truth” era there is some serious Orwellian indoctrination taking place. Confucius warned long ago that when words lose their meaning it’s only a matter of time before there is confusion and ruin everywhere. He stated:
“If names be not correct, language is not in accordance with the truth of things. If language be not in accordance with the truth of things, affairs cannot be carried on to success. When affairs cannot be carried out with success, proprieties and music do not flourish.” [Confucius]
